From that analysis, Consumer Reports chooses their Top Pick in several categories and names those vehicles the Best Cars of the Year. These vehicles set the standard for performance, safety, fuel efficiency, and innovative technology. Only vehicles with standard automatic emergency braking were considered for these awards.
