Bella the Rescue Dog Has Made It to Utah!

Bella the Rescue Dog Arrives in Utah

Update on Bella the Dog

Thelen Subaru in Bay City, MI, is pleased to announce that Bella, the dog who made national news for chewing her leg to escape a neglectful situation, has made it safely to her new home in Utah! Bella will surely be loved at the Best Friends Humane Society. The approximately 1,800-mile journey from Saginaw to Utah was recently completed by Bella and a small crew of helpers using a vehicle that Thelen Subaru provided use of. We also donated the fuel costs for the entire journey. Bella was greeted by workers at the Best Friends Humane Society and given the love and attention that she deserves. Everyone is hopeful that despite the traumatic events that poor Bella endured, she will be a happy and healthy dog for years to come!

Thelen Subaru’s Part in the Transport of Bella to Utah

As mentioned, Thelen Subaru was proud to donate the use of a new 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness from our inventory to transport Bella and her companions from Saginaw to Utah. Given the long journey that was undertaken, we also made sure that all gasoline costs were taken care of. One of our team members, Zach Webster, was present when the crew with Bella in tow left Michigan.

Help Thelen Subaru Help Animals in Mid-Michigan

Getting to be a part of this heartwarming story is something that we pride ourselves in at Thelen Subaru. We love animals and strive to help serve needs such as the ones that Bella found herself needing. As such, we encourage you to help our local community with your time and financial resources because there are plenty of animals in need. Please consider donating food, supplies, or money to a mid-Michigan animal shelter or rescue to give those who are working hard to take care of misplaced animals the resources that they need most.
